Knitting Through It is out
My essay, "Knitting: My Urban Escape," is out in this wonderful book of essays and photographs. Mostly contemporary pieces, a few historical. Every day I read another essay I like so much. Voyageur is one of those smaller presses that makes the most beautiful books. More here or here.
dear Barbara, never would i have imagined that such a book would be available during such a sorrowful time in my life.
each time i went to buy it in the past, it wasn't available. but one day, trying to find some quiet time to sit and knit i went to b&n. i saw the book then. what a surprise and needed comfort it was. thank you.
